OTE 2011 Information
Our commitment to service excellence, absolute safety and our goal to raise $50 million for not-for-profits throughout North America remains entrenched in our corporate philosophy. Our continued efforts and our overall business development have been chronicled in my latest CEO Quarterly Update. The newsletter can be found here.
After client consultation and review of our second quarterly financials, effective immediately, all renewal OTE event fees will incur a 17% increase for the 2011 season. This equates to an additional $4,000.00 charged in event premiums. All first year event fees will incur a 22% increase which will equate to a $5,000.00 price increase. This increase has been kept to the minimum possible level for all stakeholders and is primarily due to our 400% increase in insurance premiums and significant increase in staffing, both at the event and with event management.
OTE strategies to help you save money and increase your revenues!
In order to keep individual site costs down, three significant processes have been implemented:
1st: Not-for-profit partners who require additional services and support will be billed directly. In the past, these costs have been averaged into the same event fee for all. It is now standard that OTE will charge the client for additional service requests. Many on these additional service requests have been identified in Schedule C.
2nd: A new cost reduction strategy has been outlined and implemented with direct and simple ways you can lower your OTE event costs and save thousands.
3rd: Sponsorship is the key! More and more locations have had the entire cost of the event underwritten by one premium sponsor. This is a testament to the not-for-profit’s position in the community, their BOD members and staff. We will take a leadership role from both an educational aspect, as well as direct negotiation with potential sponsors.
As per previous years, it is still OTE standard practice to have any and all additional event costs pre-approved by you. We are very sensitive to sticker shock and have gone to great communication lengths to avoid this for our mutual benefits.
Our team at Over the Edge thanks you for your continued support of this unique event.
