Mount Kilimanjaro Trek
Climb the highest freestanding mountain in the world! Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent at 5896m. Its snow-capped summit rises high above the dusty African plains; huge permanent glaciers flow down from the summit, spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the reward for pushing your limits both physically and mentally.
Icelandic Lava Trek
Iceland is a land of incredible contrast and beauty. Its wild volcanic landscapes, mountains, glaciers, hot springs, geysers and waterfalls, combined with its rich history, literature and folklore make it a fascinating country to explore. This fascinating and highly diverse short trek takes us up to a high pass between two majestic glaciers. We finish at the beautiful waterfall of Skógarfoss before driving to Reykjavik, where we have some time to explore, or visit the Blue Lagoon thermal spa.
Pyrenees Freedom Trail Trek
This beautiful and demanding trek in the Pyrenees takes us from France over the high mountains into Spain. Our route follows the Chemin de la Liberté, one of the toughest WW2 escape routes from Nazi-occupied France. The trek is arduous and steep, taking us through spectacular scenery of cirques, rocky ridges, beech forests and mountain lakes. Whenever the going gets tough, we have only to think of those who undertook the same paths in fear of their lives to find the determination to continue.
India offers a broad diversity of landscapes, people and wildlife, with an incredible mix of colourful cultures and a sense of history at every turn. We travel to the desert state of Rajasthan, where our exciting ride takes us through an historic area known for its characteristic old forts, painted houses and maharajah’s palaces – some of which we stay in overnight. We then celebrate our achievements at India’s most iconic monument, the graceful Taj Mahal.
London to Paris Cycle
Cycling from London to Paris is one of the great cycle experiences in Europe. Passing through picturesque Kent countryside, we cross the Channel and continue through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France, finishing at the Eiffel Tower. Our last day in Paris allows us to explore the sights and soak up the romantic atmosphere of this majestic city!
Grand Canyon to Las Vegas Cycle
At 277 miles long, 18 miles wide and in places one mile deep, the Grand Canyon is a breath-taking sight. This exciting ride offers fabulous views not just of the Grand Canyon, but the colourful desert, rocky gorges and forested plateaus around it. Passing historic towns on the iconic Route 66, this is a fascinating ride with some challenging climbs and fabulous long descents, culminating on the famous Sunset strip in Las Vegas.
What are the toilet facilities like (our most common question!)
What are accommodation and general facilities like on trips?
I’m a vegetarian, will there be food for me?
Do I carry my own luggage?
Do I need travel insurance?
…and many more.
