Why Choose a Community-Wide Celebration Event?
We've thought of everything - all we need is you!
Our Community Wide Celebrations are designed for non-profits who don't have the time or funds to plan and execute an Over The Edge urban rappelling event completely on their own. In this event model, non-profits can share the cost and responsibilities of the event with other organizations in their community! Over The Edge will also provide plenty of valuable resources and assistance with all aspects of your event!
Our organization, Platte Valley Youth for Christ, needed a fund development event to increase awareness in our community of our work with teenagers. Wow! OTE provided us with the perfect opportunity to share our mission with individuals, business groups, churches and other organizations. The results were incredible: We visited 50 new businesses never before connected to our organization, had over 300 people attend our ground event during the rappels, and recruited over 40 volunteers to serve on the day of the event. OTE was about much more than the funds we raised, it produced long lasting relationships within our community that will serve us for years to come!

Obviously it’s natural to be skeptical about anything that sounds so off the charts crazy. Having been in fundraising for more than 16 years, I have tried different events which have ended up being a disaster and in hindsight; a complete waste of our resources. By God’s grace I stumbled upon the Over the Edge website… We took a leap of faith and decided to host an OTE event in Springfield, IL. I can say that I regret only a few decisions I have made in my fundraising career and hosting an Over the Edge event for my organization is NOT one of them.

The tech team and our client experience manager were amazing! Every single one of our Edgers had a fabulous time, and want to go Over The Edge again! Thank you!!
